Temporary shutdown extended / fall season closed
Nov. 13, 2020
As daily COVID-19 cases in Toronto remain high, the temporary shutdown of our galleries and research centre has been extended and our fall exhibitions are now closed.
While it is disappointing to end our fall season ahead of schedule, the health and well-being of our staff and visitors is our primary concern.
During this closure, we encourage you to explore our online resources. Experience Stephen Waddell's large-scale photographic tableaux in our video tours of the Main Gallery and the Salah J. Bachir New Media Wall, watch Waddell's Tanenbaum Lecture online, or hear from Mohamed Bourouissa in his artist talk, which took place last week.
Our Youth in Conversation online panel focused on the representation of BIPOC communities in western culture will proceed as scheduled on Wednesday, November 25, at 7 pm. Visit the events page on our website for more information and to register.
Details about our winter 2021 season schedule will be available soon. In the meantime, please visit our website for the most current information.
